Request account deletion by email
To request deletion without using the app, email post@twerity.com with the subject Twerity account deletion request. State that you want your Twerity account and associated personal data deleted.
Include the account email address, if you have one, and whether you signed in with email, Google or Pi. For a Pi-only account, include your Pi username or Twerity account identifier if available. You do not need to create an email login or reinstall the app to send a request.
We verify account ownership before deleting personal data. We may ask for proportionate confirmation using your existing sign-in method or a verified account channel. An email request alone does not authorize someone to delete another person’s account.
Keep authentication secrets private. Do not email passwords, one-time codes, recovery or verification links, full OAuth callback links, wallet seed phrases or private keys. We do not need them to process a deletion request.
Delete while signed in
- Sign in to the same Twerity account in the Android app or at twerity.com.
- Open Privacy in the main or bottom navigation.
- If you want a copy, select Export my data before continuing.
- Select Delete account under “Close your account.”
- Confirm your password or reauthenticate with your connected sign-in provider, accept the deletion confirmation, and select Delete account.
Signing out or uninstalling the app does not delete the server account. Pausing AI processing is a separate control and does not delete your saved data.
What account deletion removes
Deletion closes the account and removes its login identities and sessions, foundational and daily answers, personal memories and revisions, profile information, Persona conversations and response-context snapshots, corrections, response ratings and optional feedback, important people, life events, private photos/video/audio and their change history, account-linked daily activity, and submitted AI safety reports from the active account database. Its direct referral relationships and personal credit history are removed. Access to the account and its TWY balance ends; export anything you want to keep before deletion.
This is an account deletion request, not a temporary deactivation. If you only want particular data reviewed or removed while keeping the account, explain that separately in your message.
What may remain and why
Minimal financial orders, receipts and transaction references may be retained without a link to the deleted account for reconciliation, duplicate-payment protection, legal obligations and disputes. Historical activity may remain without the deleted account where needed to preserve another user’s earned-credit calculation.
Security and hosting logs, backups and provider-held copies follow their operational and legal retention requirements. They do not necessarily disappear immediately with the active account. Such records are kept only as needed for those purposes and their further use is restricted. Contact us for information about a particular record or retention period.
An active checkout or payment with unresolved funds may need to be closed, settled or reviewed before account deletion can complete. Closing a local checkout does not reverse a blockchain payment. Public blockchain records cannot be erased by Twerity; provider-held data remains subject to the provider’s retention and legal duties.
Help with a deletion request
For an ownership check, an inaccessible account or a question about retained records, contact post@twerity.com. We will explain any further information needed or an unresolved payment that affects the request. This page does not promise a fixed completion time or limit rights under applicable law.
Read the Privacy notice’s retention and deletion section for the wider account data policy.
